Intimate dinners at châteaux and domaines: meet the winemakers, walk the vineyards at dusk, and taste library vintages alongside food from the same place.
Vineyard expeditions
Curated journeys through the great wine regions — Burgundy, Bordeaux, Piedmont, Champagne, Napa — with cellar tours, barrel tastings and producers who do not open their doors to the public.
Collector gatherings
Vertical tastings, seminars and evenings with other collectors, built around a theme rather than a sales pitch.

The vignerons
Behind every bottle is a grower who knows their land intimately — how the morning fog settles in the valley, which slopes catch the afternoon sun, how the soil shifts from one row to the next.
These producers do not simply make wine; they look after a living heritage. Opening a bottle from a family domaine is tasting the sum of hundreds of harvests worth of judgement.
The terroir
Terroir — that untranslatable idea covering soil, climate and habit — is what makes wine worth arguing about. Two Pinot Noirs from neighbouring slopes, planted a few hundred metres apart, taste nothing alike.
Which is why we encourage collectors to go: to stand in the vineyard, smell the earth and feel the wind, and understand why this wine, from this place, is unlike any other.

AMPEL LIMITED's rare-spirits business brings the same curation to whisky, from a Grade II listed building on Denmark Street in Soho.

Set across two and a half floors of a seventeenth-century building on Denmark Street, DRAM runs a ground-floor bar and shop and private tasting rooms upstairs.
